Becky Kourlis

Becky Kourlis understands the law from all angles, including the one she built to help improve the legal system itself.

After practicing law for a decade, she served as a Colorado state trial court judge and Chief Judge and then as a Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court for 10 years. She left the Court in 2006 to found the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System (IAALS) at the University of Denver.

Stacy Kourlis Guillon

Stacy Kourlis Guillon understands the landscape of dispute resolution.

Before co-founding Aegis, she was an attorney at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP, litigating complex cases of all varieties, including constitutional, education, land use, and agricultural disputes. She attended Stanford Law School and clerked for now Chief Judge Timothy Tymkovich of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
